ONstupid means doing what one wants to do - regardless of what people think...
(ON)stupid was raised equally in New York City, and the Bay Area, with an extended trip to Hawaii.
ON has a Big Apple hustler mentality mixed with a little Bay area pimpin. Parlay that with a little corporate hustle and you've
got a well rounded Hip Hop head that speaks game on many topics, not just your played out songs and punch lines.
ON's lyrics are from the heart - his style is straight forward and convincing... He speaks to all that
have struggled, regardless of creed or locality. His songs are about real life and it's issues.
ON's brother JFN produces the beats. Having a similar background, but with Los Angeles taking the 2nd
half of his life. JFN started in Hip Hop back in the early '90's with DJ Quik as a rapper and writer. After an extended break,
he changed direction and focused his attention to production.
ONstupid and JFN, two brothers chasing a dream. And living in reality.....
Born in Manhattan NY, moving to Hawaii, and living in the Bay Area over the last decade I've had influence
from all sides of Hip Hop. Hip Hop's about expression and culture. I can't think of anything I would rather do with my life.

I grew up listening to everything from Rakim, Jay Z, DJ Quik, NWA, Andre (Outkast), T.I, Jadakiss, Common, and too many others
to name. Outside of Hip Hop I'll listen to almost any type of music. Some of favs are Bob Marley, Linkin Park, Sade, Lenny
Kravitz, Yellowman, Peter Tosh, Usher, and Sinatra just to list a few...................
